DESCRIPTION:Schedule\n				The Tournament is LIVE and can be found online HERE \nAny schedule requests must be submitted in writing to events@dev.legendslax.com at least 30 days prior to the start of the tournament.  Schedule requests are not guaranteed but Legends will do our best to accommodate if received within the timeframe.   \nFor Travel Purposes\, teams should be prepared to play by  8 am each day. The tournament will end by 4pm on Sunday. \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Field Map\n				PARKING IS $15/DAY\n \n\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Tournament Rules\n				LEGENDS LACROSSE TOURNAMENT RULES –2025 (MELTDOWN)*Coaches will certify their players are properly equipped \nScoring and Time \n\nRefs keep game time\nThe table keeps the score and penalty time\n\nTournament Play – Pool Play (Saturday Games) \n\n 2 – 21 minutes halves\n3- minute halftime\n3 game guarantee (Pool Play)\nNo Timeouts\nNo Overtime\n2025 NFHS Rules with modifications below\n\nPlayoff Rules (Sunday) \n\n 2 – 21 minutes halves\n3- minute halftime\n Playoff Games…\n\n\nTeams are awarded (1) one-minute time-out per team in Regulation Time\nThe clock will stop. Timeout does NOT roll over to OT.  No timeouts in OT\nA timeout can be called when the team calling the timeout is in possession of the ball\, anywhere on the field\nOvertime will begin immediately and be decided by sudden victory.  OT will have a Running Clock on all whistles.  The first goal scored wins the game.\n\n\nInjuries\n\nAny injury within 2 minutes and under that requires the game to be stopped\, the clock stops with the injury.\nAny injury with more than 2 minutes remaining when the game is stopped\, a maximum of 1 minute will come off the clock to assess the injury before the clock is stopped\n\n\n\nBOYS SPECIFIC RULES \n\n No stick checks unless refs think a stick is outrageously illegal\n 4 pole maximum on the field\nCounts\n\n30 seconds to advance the ball into the box (Pool Play and Playoffs)\n2026 – 2033 Grad Years:  Clearing Counts.\nChampionship/Playoff Games Only:  The leading team must keep it in the box under 2 minutes if they are ahead by 2 goals or less.\n\nIf a score changes to 2 goals or less under 2 minutes the clock will stop and start with the whistles\nIf teams are ahead by 3 goals or more\, the clock will remain running\n\n\n\n\nChecking\n\nLimited body checking in 2030 – 2033.  Big hits & physical play (even within three yards of a loose ball) constitute unnecessary roughness (90 sec penalty)\nOne-handed stick checks are not allowed in any youth divisions (2033 and below)\n\n\nPenalties\n\nPenalties are running time starting on the whistle (45 or 90 seconds)  Penalty time stops during injuries\, end of quarters\, and while another penalty is being assessed.\n\n\n\nGIRLS SPECIFIC RULES \n\n2025 NFHS Rules Apply/US Lacrosse Rules\n\nFull Checking at HS Divisions (2026-2029)\nHS Divisions:  2025 NFHS Rules Apply\nFree movement will apply to all ages\nIf a horn sounds at the end of time and a free position is being awarded in the critical scoring area\, the game will continue until the scoring play is over.  The Free position show will be awarded as one shot\, no passes\, no follow-up shots.\n\n\nCLOCK\n\nThe clock will stop at or under 2 minutes in each half (playoff games only)\nThe clock will stop on each whistle during the last 2 minutes of each half (playoff games only)\n\n\n\n\nIf at 2 minutes or under time period for either half of the game and a team has a lead of 10 goals more\, then the game clock will remain a running clock. If the score changes to less than a 10-goal differential at any point during the final 2 minutes of either half\, the clock goes back to stop clock.\n\n\nCARDS\n\nIf a single player receives 2 yellow cards in one game\, the player is out for the remainder of the game but may play the next game\nRed card for 1 player – player out the remainder of that game. Officials & Tournament Director will determine if the player will be allowed to play any remaining games\nIf a team accumulates 4 or more cards in a game they  have to play a player down for the remainder of the game\n\n\n\nEJECTIONS \n\nGame ejections are handled by the referees\nTournament ejections are handled by the tournament director (2 unsportsmanlike conduct penalties warrant ejection or 1-game suspension)\n\nRANKINGS: \n\nWin = 3 points\nLoss = 0 points\nTie = 1 point\n\nIn the event that a team needs to play a 4th pool game in order to give a second team their 3rd game:\n\n The 4th game will be identified and acknowledged with a ‘*’ on Tourney Machine\nThe 4th game will not count for any potential points or Goals Against for the team playing their 4th game\nFor the team playing their 3rd game\, the results will count for points and goals against\nIn the event that there is a tiebreaker scenario\, which includes a teams head to head being their fourth game\, that has been identified with ‘*’ the head to head will NOT be applied.\n\n\nIn the event a team is declared a winner due to forfeit\n\nFor ranking purposes the goals against average for the pool play games will be the average of the games that were completed\n\nTeam A wins\, 10-8 and 12-8 and then forfeit is 1–0.  Their average of 8 GA will be used to rank\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTie Breakers \nIf 2 teams are tied with POINTS: \n\nHead to Head\nGoals Against TOTAL\nGoals Against Common Opponent.  If multiple common opponents\, take the sum.\n\nIf more than 2 teams tied with POINTS: \n\nIf 1 team beat the other 2 teams – that team will advance and the second 2 will fall back into tiebreaker rules\nGoals Against Total\nGoals Against Common Opponent (only used if all teams played common opponent.  If multiple common opponents\, take the sum)\nCoin Toss/Bravehart\n\nIf a team is still tied after these tie-breakers and is eligible for championship playoff bracket\, a Braveheart may be used to determine who advances.  The tournament director will determine the scheduling of a braveheart based on fields and availability\n\n\n\nROSTERING \n\nAll players must be registered and can only play for 1 team\, unless approved by the event director\, in each event.\nUnregistered players are considered ineligible for play and if found may result in a team forfeiting games and player ejection from the event.\nAny teams who are found moving players or playing with ineligible players may forfeit that game and possibly any others already played.\n\n  \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Payment Options\n				 \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Age Guidelines\n				\n \n \n  \n\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Hotels\n				 \nLegends is proud to announce our partnership with Athletes Hospitality as our official lodging provider for our upcoming events this year.
